Most Wisconsin crops still good to excellent


More than five days were suitable for fieldwork in Wisconsin last week, but some of them were very hot and humid.

USDA reporters say much of the state had good progress with haying and spraying, but some scattered thunderstorms in southern Wisconsin left some wind-damaged crops and some crops yellowing from standing water.  Most of the state is working on 2nd crop hay, with more progress in the southern part of Wisconsin.
